Nespresso Coffee Machine
When and which one to buy??
Okay...
You have gone through the shops,
had a taste of their coffee,
thought "wow I want one of these",
went "uhh... a little expensive",
and now you are looking around to see if you could get something for cheap on eBay or Gumtree?
I have gone through this thought process for SOOOOO long~
I think a couple of months at least.
As you can see below I bought the
I was originally planning to buy the
as this one only needed one cord, whereas the Inissia needs two.
But I've tried out the Inissia and I am glad I bought the cheaper one as I think the frothed machine is quite prone to breaking or complications. (I've read that it easily burns if you don't clean it properly after each use and I've already experienced the spring flying out ever two uses")
I've spoken to staff at Nespresso and there is no difference in the quality of the coffee between the smaller machines. (There is a difference between these and the higher machines like the Lattissima and the more expensive ones).
There is no difference between DeLonghi and Breville too. It is just that one brand makes one range of colours and the other brand makes a different range of colours.
So it is up to you on which machine to buy. I say just buy the one on special and the cheapest.
^^
(but that is just my preference~)
Now where and when to buy!
I bought mine in September when they had the $60/80 cash back for father's day!
I heard from a friend that they did it for mother's day too. I think there will be more in future so wait for these.
I mainly stalked and compared prices at Nespresso, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys online.
Nespresso AU$249
Harvey Norman AU$199
The Good Guys AU$189
Out of these The Good Guys had the lowest prices in September.
They charge about $10 for delivery (for me) but I picked mine up and got a $5 discount voucher to spend on something while I was there.
I just checked and Harvey Norman has decreased their prices to $189.
The Good Guys have the blue and Harvey have the lime.
(both have red, white and black also today; 12th Oct 2014)
This is prone to change according to their stock.
I bought mine at $189 and received the $60 cash back for my machine.
You do it online in Australia but you have to do it by post in NZ.
It took about 1-2 weeks for myself but my mum's in NZ took about 1-2 months.
It ended up being $129 for the Machine, milk frother, and approx. 16 capsule(?) starter pack.
I was so happy to get it at this price.
I have about 2-3 coffees per day.
I am not a fussy coffee drinker and I am happy with the taste and variety of strengths the capsule come in. I don't think it is for someone that knows a lot about coffees. I read in another person's review that they don't think the coffee quality is that great. But for me it's better than some coffee shops that just fail to make normal coffee.
Thanks for reading everybody~
