SEALY POSTUREPEDIC my FINAL Choice! and Myer 's delivery Service through CAPITAL TRANSPORT

I went to Myer to buy my Aspire Serenity 

.....But

They had another bed that was not there before.

It was $2269 After 50% off sale and a much better bed than the Aspire Serenity that I had my eye on.
I laid on it and fell in love... more...
I know.... idiot, shouldn't have lied on it but I had to!!!
I am so happy with my choice!!! 
It broke the bank definitely and I couldn't get the 12 months interest free as I didn't apply for the Myer Visa card (too many bits and bobs in the payment long term)

BUT this post is not about my bed

It is about Myer's delivery service through

CAPITAL TRANSPORT

It takes 4 business days to make the bed, so as you pay for the bed a date must be arranged so that it is after at least 4 business days. 
The lady said that you will receive a text message from Capital Transport (the delivery company) the day before delivery.
It will confirm the delivery address and date. It will also confirm whether it is an "AM delivery" (8am-2pm) or "PM delivery" (i think PM delivery goes from 11pm-5pm... not 100% sure)

If you do not like the time slot then you can call them up and re-arrange a time. 

However, you can not chose what time exactly when they will come to your door.

The Myer lady Amelia also mentioned that if there is a bed already in the room the men will move it for you. Plus, that they will put the feet on for the new bed and take all the plastic with them as they leave!! 

Talk about service!

So the Day of Delivery~

I received a call at 11:30 am. The man said that he will arrive in half an hour.

At 12pm he did not arrive so at 12:22pm I sent him a text message to see where he is.

Because I am in the city they had trouble parking.

They had been looking for a car park for 20 minutes.

SERIOUSLY they come in a HUGE!!!! TRUCK.

It's not like a small van or ute. It's like those huge Coles trucks.

There were two guys that finally came and parked at a loading zone.

The men were fast working and kind.

They had nice manners and took their shoes off when they came in the house :) 

But they were about to leave without removing the plastic and putting on the feet for my new bed!

I asked them if they could do it and they did do it.

You just need to ask~

Well~

Overall, It was a very new experience for me. 

It was the biggest buy of my life so far after my fridge. 

I hope to sleep well and experience more lovely big buys in future. 

Hope this has helped some people looking to buy a Sealy bed.
